Warned Before the Election
Nathan meets with a survivor and learns his account involving the accused political operative. He also receives information about additional reported victims, the incident with a Boy Scout youth, the FSU police investigation, related court records, and the broader scope of the allegations.

A Promise to Fight for the Survivors
Nathan pledges that, if elected, he will demand an investigation by the Florida Democratic Party, raise public awareness to prevent the accused operative from gaining access to additional political events and potential victims, and take whatever steps are necessary to bring the allegations before the public.

Elected Without FDP Support
Nathan wins the special election without financial support, donations, or campaign assistance from the Florida Democratic Party. In fact, though the Chair of the Party was in the same building at the time, she declines to attend his swearing in ceremony.
Because this was a Special Election to fill a vacant seat, Nathan must campaign again for the November 2026 general election.

Early April 2026
Party Support is Offered
According to two witnesses, an FDP liaison tells Nathan that the party will provide funding and assistance for his reelection, but that he must first distance himself from Party critics. This includes individuals attempting to bring these allegations forward.

Breaking Bread with the Accused Predator He Promised to Expose
Though he promised to expose the allegations and help prevent the accused operative from accessing future victims at political events, Nathan voluntarily co-hosts a political dinner attended by that same operative.
For the people who trusted Brian Nathan enough to share their stories, the dinner sends a message that the commitment he made to survivors was no longer his priority.

JUNE 2026
WEEKS LATER, THOUSANDS IN FUNDING BEGINS
The Florida Democratic Party begins contributing thousands of dollars to Nathan’s campaign for the first time. Some of those funds were donations from the alleged predator. Contributions are ongoing and total nearly $75,000 to date.
As of the date of the publication of these materials, we have identified no public statement or demand for accountability concerning the allegations of sexual assault.
As of this date, Nathan has not returned the campaign funds connected to the alleged predator.
Nathan continues sharing public political spaces attended by the accused predator.
BREAKING NEWS: Senator Brian Nathan Responds, But Does Not Answer.
Brian Nathan DOES NOT DENY Ties to the Accused Sexual Predator. He Dismisses Our Calls for an Investigation as a “Political Football”.
Senator Nathan’s email response does not mention any action he will take at all and, instead, cites his military service and union membership and calls our effort to seek justice for survivors an effort “to distract and divide voters”.
Here are the things that Senator Nathan’s response DOES NOT DENY:
Brian Nathan HAS NOT DENIED that he personally met with a survivor before his election and learned about the allegations of sexual misconduct involving a political operative he is connected to.
Brian Nathan HAS NOT DENIED that he promised to help expose the allegations and seek accountability of the alleged sexual crimes if elected.
Brian Nathan HAS NOT DENIED that, weeks after his election, he co-hosted a political dinner attended by the accused operative.
Brian Nathan HAS NOT DENIED that his re-election campaign has received nearly $75,000 from Florida Democratic organizations which have funds directly tied to the accused operative.
Brian Nathan HAS NOT DISPUTED a single fact, date, survivor account, financial record, his awareness of these alleged crimes, or his direct political connections to an accused sexual predator.
Brian Nathan says, “…survivors of sexual assault …have shown tremendous courage by coming forward with their stories”, yet has pledged to do absolutely nothing to prevent additional people from being victimized by this accused sexual predator.
